ASQ-3
ASQ-3 features 30 developmental items which assess 5 areas of development: Communication, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Problem Solving, and Personal-Social.
This screening looks at your child's sensory preferences and is a map to helping families support their children. This screening is recommended if your child has delays in personal or social communication, outbursts, or difficulty in daily activities. It may also be helpful if your child seems to be reluctant to play with others or participate in crafts, play, or eating.
of Visual-Motor Integration
This screening assesses the difference between a child struggling with motor controls versus visual differences. If your child is having trouble with manipulating objects or drawing, this test will determine if your child has vision or motor deficits or even difficulty combining the two.
Needs & Strengths Assessment
Connect Nevada is a care coordination program designed to help children and young adults stay safely at home/in the community with their friends and families instead of other settings outside of the home. We utilize a youth-guided, family-driven, strengths-based approach to mental health services and community supports including intensive home-based therapy, respite, and family and youth peer support services. This screening will help to determine eligibility for the Connect Nevada program.
ASQ-3 and ASQ-SE
This screening includes the ASQ-3 and the ASQ-SE which provides a more detailed assessment of social-emotional development.
PDMS-2
This screening evaluates fine and gross motor skills in children. This assessment measures motor skills and identifies which specific skills keep your child from advancing to their next milestones.
Eligible families interested in enrolling in the Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada WIC program can complete the screening evaluation which includes height, weight, and hemoglobin (finger stick) to assess nutritional status & identify potential risks for malnutrition, including iron deficiency anemia. This program is offered statewide to eligible families, Tribal membership is not required.
DAYC-2 Communication Domain
This standardized assessment is used to identify children who have a language disorder or delay. It is composed of 2 subscales: Expressive Language and Receptive Language. The Receptive Language is used to evaluate how much language a child understands. Expressive Communication is used to determine how well a child communicates with others.
