Head Start and Early Head Start are federally funded programs that promote the school readiness of young children from low-income families. Early Head Start typically serves pregnant women and children from birth to age three. Head Start serves children ages three to five years old. Both programs emphasize a holistic approach, considering not only the educational needs of children but also their health, nutrition, and family support to ensure a well-rounded foundation for learning and growth.
Little People’s Head Start provides a nurturing educational environment for children and families to reach their full potential. It offers a preschool program for children aged 3-5, featuring small classes with a focus on individualized learning using The Creative Curriculum®. The Early Head Start program caters to infants and toddlers, offering personalized care and comprehensive learning experiences. Little People’s Head Start supports families with goal setting, community resources, health check-ups, developmental assessments, and opportunities for family connections, ensuring a well-rounded educational and developmental experience.
