The Special Supplemental Nutrition program for women, infants and children (WIC) is a nutrition education program that helps families identify healthy nutrition choices that work. WIC provides women with breastfeeding education and support, feeding guidance for children, prenatal care, and breast pump assistance. WIC provides moms, infants, and children (ages 0 to 5) with food choices dedicated to their proper growth. ITCN WIC is dedicated to helping rural and tribal communities, however the program is open to all Nevadan residents. ITCN WIC is dedicated to providing services to participants no matter where they live. The program includes a travel clinic to various rural communities to conduct appointments and sign parents and caregivers up for WIC.
