Nevada Medicaid Program

Nevada Medicaid is health insurance that helps many people who can't afford medical care pay for some or all of their medical bills. This program is available only to certain low-income individuals and families in Nevada who fit into an eligibility group that is recognized by Federal and state law.

Katie Beckett Eligibility Option: Income eligibility may be waived families with a disabled child under 19 years of age who would be eligible for Medicaid if he or she were in a medical institution and who is receiving, while living at home, medical care that would normally be provided in a medical institution. ADULTS:                                  
Age 19-64 whose household income is at or below 138% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL)

CHILDREN:                               
Under age 19 whose income is at or below 205% of the FPL

PREGNANT WOMEN:                
Household income is less than 165% of the FPL

PARENTS/CARETAKERS:            
Income at or below 138% of the FPL
