Child Find - Early Intervention (ages 3-21)

Child Find is a program designed to support children in the state of Nevada who may have developmental delays or special health care needs. It aims to ensure that every child receives the best start in their educational journey. By focusing on early identification and referral, Child Find helps children be prepared for school. Whether your child has a chronic illness, a disabling condition, or developmental delays, this program is here to assist. Child Find embraces all families, offering guidance and resources to ensure that every child's unique needs are met and supported​. Each school district in Nevada has a Child Find Program – contact your local elementary school or school district administrative office for additional information.

AGE:    
Child age 3 up to age 21

OTHER:

  • Suspected developmental delay or disability
  • Diagnosed developmental delay or disability
  • Not currently enrolled in public school  

LOCATION:      
Statewide - Child Find programs are administered by each public school district in Nevada
